Fun in the (valley of the) Sun

Last weekend Jackson and I got to take a trip down to AZ! I was reminded that they don't call it the Valley of the Sun for nothing- it was hot! BUT-It was so much fun and such a nice break to get away for a few days. I even got to go to my friend Melisha's baby shower when I was down there, so it worked out perfectly! I was so excited to get a chance to visit my old high school buddies. Of course, I was glad to see my family, too! They always spoil Jackson with so much attention-it gives me a little break :)

Getting a workout...

vacuums

It has been really hard to get anything done around the house with Jackson so curious and mobile. Here is what happened when mommy was trying to vacuum the other day...
Somebody kept getting in my way!
Jackson is NOT scared of the vacuum at all! He loves to see it light up and make loud noises! He is so funny!

11 Months!

Jackson is 11 months old! He is becoming more and more curious all the time! He talks constantly and comes up with new sounds every day! He loves to be outside in the pool, at the park or playing in the grass. He loves to ride in his stroller. He loves to watch big kids play. He loves things that light up and make noise. He loves to play peek-a-boo and sing songs. He is such a happy boy!
