Durango

Over Labor Day weekend, Jackson, Dana, and I went down to Durango to visit my grandparents while my husband had an adventure of his own on a roadtrip to Dallas. Read about that here.

We had a great time enjoying the mountain air and relaxing with the grandparents. Jackson loved having tons of room to roam and he even made a new best friend-Breck, the German Sheperd. It was so cute to watch Jackson interact with Breck-he absolutely loves animals, which is amazing to me because neither Seth or I are "pet people". But after watching Jackson with Breck I am convinced we will someday have to give in and get a dog. Breck actually became quite attached to Jackson as well and Breck started protecting Jackson against all the adults in the house! By the end of our trip, I couldn't even pick Jackson up without Breck charging me! And of course we had to take Jackson down to the river walk to toss rocks in the river (his absolute favorite thing to do!) We had so much fun....and probably took way too many pictures of my little cutie....

Summer Fun

Here are a few pics from when my parents came to drop Dana off at BYU. We were so glad to get Dana back! We missed her all summer! We all went to Seven Peaks while they were visiting and had a blast. Jackson and I spent most of our summer at Seven Peaks, but I'm glad we could finally take some pics of him loving the water!

Jackson was so brave this summer! He loved to go down the big slides! Once he realized he could tube down the slides with us, he refused to go on the kiddie slides!

We also cooked foil dinner in Provo Canyon while my parents were here and they turned out so yummy! I was pretty proud of myself since it was my first experience making foil dinners. Provo Canyon is gorgeous in the summertime and of course Jackson loves to be outside.
