We are so glad the sun came out in Provo this last week and we hope it is here to stay! Jackson took two trips to the park this week! He loves to swing and go down the slides. He especially just loves to be outside! Check out his new baby chompers on top!

Nana's and No! No!'s

I have been gradually giving Jackson more and more solids with his meals and he absolutely loves it! He especially loves bananas (aka nanas). He gets so excited when he sees me start to peel the banana. Some of his other favorites include vanilla wafers, cheerios, graham crackers, & strawberries. He sure makes a big mess with all this food and he feels like a ton of bricks when I carry him around, but it sure is cute to watch him chomp on food with his four little teeth!

After my surgery, my cousin Brenna came over and made me about a month's worth of meals and helped me with Jackson! It was so sweet of her to come over and help and I really appreciate everything she did! These are just some cute pics we took of Jacko and her little girl Meghan!

Jackson's 10 months old!

Jackson has had a busy month! Here are some of the things Jackson has done in the last month:

*Went to his last doctor's appointment for 3 months

*Road trip to Arizona

*Attended mommy's graduation from BYU

*Started eating rice cereal mixed with baby food 3 x a day

*Scooted into the bathroom when mommy wasn't looking and emptied the trash (yuck!)

*Went on an adventure with mommy to the OBGYN and the Emergency Room in one afternoon

*Charmed the Ultrasound technician at American Fork hospital so much that she bought him a
new toy from the gift shop during mommy's ultrasound

*Spent the night at Granny's Stokers for the first time

*Went to the park with daddy and went on the swings

*Had Gramma and Grampa W. visit twice

*Had a different friend over to play nearly every day for a week

*Cut his 2nd tooth on the bottom and the two on top are REALLY close

*Went on the tramp and the swings with Auntie Jen

*Broke mommy's cell phone by chewing on it

*Road trip to St. George

*Went swimming for the first time

Here are some of Jackson's new tricks:

*He scoots with his arms and feet, but refuses to go up on hands and knees

*He scoots EVERYWHERE imaginable and is actually pretty quick

*He automatically claps his hands when mommy sings "pat-a-cake"

*If told "No!, No!" He responds with "Nanananananana" (basically the "n" sound, or his version
of "No!"

*When daddy comes home, he loves to play the game where daddy and Jackson run away while
mommy is chasing them

*He knows how to whine when he doesn't get his way. He gets especially mad if you take away
things he is not supposed to play with...phones, camera's, computers, cords or wires of any kind

*He throws little fits when these things get taken away

*He loves to eat cheerios, crackers, and any other tiny object he may find on our floor (yikes)

*He gives KISSES!

Happy Birthday Seth!

My handsome hubby Seth turns 25 today! I love Seth so much and I am so glad he is my husband and Jackson's dad. Here are the reasons I love Seth:

*Seth always works so hard for our family, even when he would much rather

stay home with us then go to work!

*Seth is such a good dad and he' s already got Jackson turned into a little daddy's boy. When Seth comes home, Jackson claps his hands and lifts his arms up so Seth will come over and pick him up. Jackson even whines in the morning while Seth gets ready for work because he knows daddy is going to leave!

*Seth put me through school! He was always such a great support to me...He would let me practice my nursing skills on him and listen to all my gross clinical stories!

*Seth has a "cup is half full" attitude. Whenever I am discouraged he knows just what to say to cheer me up!

*Seth loves BYU football and basketball and we have so much fun at all the games. He is the most dedicated fan I know!

*Seth loves to spoil me and he always has something sweet planned for me on special occasions!

*Seth has a great sense of humor and I love when we laugh together (except for when the jokes on me ;)

*Seth is so handsome and he has the most beautiful eyes.

*Seth loves to take trips and I can't wait for the day we can travel the world together!

*Seth has a strong testimony and he is always a good example for everyone around him!

I love you so much, Seth and I hope you have a fun birthday weekend!

Time Flies....

We've been married 3 years! Crazy! I guess it's like they always say- time flies when your having fun. Although I don't think Seth or I would categorize the last few months as "fun", the time sure has flown by. I can hardly believe we've been married three years. Sadly, I had orientation at work all day on our anniversary, but I was lucky because Seth was able to take the day off and stay with Jackson as well as plan an exciting anniversary date! When I got home from orientation that afternoon, Jackson had already been dropped off at Gramma Stoker's, there were 2 dozen red roses on the table and he had my skirt and blouse ironed and laid out for me- not to mention the whole house was sparkling! (Best present ever!) I hurried to get dressed and we headed off to our date in Salt Lake. Seth made reservations at The Roof on the tenth floor of the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. (Check out our view!) It was so romantic and the best food ever! I think I ate about 5 lb. of shrimp cocktails and the prime rib wasn't bad either. Plus, you can't go wrong with the "best dessert bar in Utah". Anyway, we had a great dinner and a fun time in Salt Lake. It was the perfect anniversary night!

My Big Boy

Jackson is such a big boy! It seems like every day he is figuring out something new! I remember trying to picture what my boy would look like at graduation back when I was still pregnant. I knew he would be 9 mos old but I don't think I could have pictured him being this cute:
