They learn so young....

It didn't take long for Jackson to catch on to the football spirit in our home this time of year! He loves to play catch with his football-and I love how he even cheers himself on! So cute!

I love fall!

Fall is officially here! The temperature dropped about 20 degrees overnight! While I don't so much enjoy the cold, I am excited for fall and the holidays! Last Sunday, we decided to drive the Alpine loop after conference and it was gorgeous! It was seriously the prettiest I've ever seen it-I am convinced it was the perfect time of year to drive through. Anyway, here are some pretty pics we took-enjoy! (disclaimer: the scenery is pretty-the people posing, not so much. who gets dressed on conference Sunday?)

Daddy's Fan Club

Seth joined an intramural softball team this semester and they were actually really good! Jackson and I had so much fun going to his games. Jackson loved watching the guys throw the ball and run the bases. He was especially interested in collecting all the loose balls on the field. I'm pretty sure I got a better work out chasing Jackson all over the field than Seth did playing softball!

Thanks Gramma and Grampa!

Gramma and Grampa Woodbury bought Jackson a front-facing car seat and he loves it! Before we even put it in the car, he was crawling into it-he knew it was for him! He is barely big enough to ride in it, so he has lots of room to grow. It sure is cute to look back in the rear view mirror and seeing him smile and look out the windows!

Smarts

Lately Jackson has been carrying his teddy bear around where ever he goes. Sometimes he will even feed teddy some of his milk or give teddy kisses. It is so amazing to me how quickly he makes connections and remembers things. He is getting so smart!

Last night we had dinner at Los Hermanos and Seth and I were having some yummy chips and salsa. I gave Jackson a chip to occupy him and he just whined and reached for the salsa bowl. Seth pushed the bowl a little closer, and Jackson started dipping his chip in the salsa! He really has become so observant!

Since my sister Dana moved to Provo, she has been over several times to watch Jackson and he just loves his "Day". The other day he noticed a picture of Dana up on the wall and he started saying "Day, Day, Day" and giggled.

Jackson loves to play hide and seek with daddy. Daddy will go hide in the closet and Jackson crawls around the house until he finds him! It's so cute!

The other night Jackson and I went to visit Granny Stoker. Jackson loves to play in the yard with granny's new kittens. Before I even had a chance to pull him out of the car he was saying "Kitty! Kitty! Kitty!" It was even dark by the time we got there, so I am not quite sure how he knew where we were!

Seth is playing on an intramural softball team this semester and Jackson and I sometimes go and watch his games. It's a little bit of a hassle, though, because all Jackson wants to do is crawl onto the field and collect all the loose balls. It's so cute to see him get excited and cheer and clap when he notices everyone else is clapping.

Bath Time

Jackson has always loved bath time, but now that he is learning new tricks, he has even more fun! He is a pro at pulling himself up and balancing now, and he figured out he can do this in the tub. So, a couple of nights ago he started standing up at the edge of the tub and balancing for a few seconds. He was being very careful and he wouldn't stand straight up, he kept his knees bent! He was so proud of his new trick he was talking and being silly throughout his whole bath!

Family Fun

Last weekend my family came into town to drop Dana off at BYU! They are going to miss her so much at home but we are so glad to have Auntie Dana living close by! We enjoyed having the company so much this past weekend and Jackson especially enjoyed being the center of attention every waking second!
Since my family doesn't get much time with Jacko, of course every little thing he did they would applaud him and it didn't take long before he caught on. Jackson would start to do a trick and then pause and look at everyone and start clapping! It was really funny to watch!

By the time we took this pic, Jackson was absolutely exhausted from performing all weekend :)
