Since our move to Rio Rancho, the Stoker family has anxiously awaited the BYU/UNM game at "The Pit". Tickets were purchased for Seth's dad and little bro to join us at the big game. We planned Lacey's baby blessing conveniently on the same weekend as the game, so we could have family there. Granny Stoker was nice enough to stay home with the kids so we could focus on the game (The Pit is no place for children). The boys left 2 hours early for the game. They were so excited they forgot to bring their tickets with them! This was our chance to watch the famous Jimmer Fredette play as a senior. It was a big deal. It was an intense game. And unfortunately, after all the excitement, BYU lost. Honestly, I was shocked at the intimidation brought by the Lobos fans. They are down right CRAZY! It actually made me ashamed of the Marriot center crowd. I would like to challenge fellow Cougars to step it up a notch at home games. And also, I have no desire to EVER attend a game at The Pit again in my life. It was scary.

Lacey's blessing day
Lacey Lynn Stoker was given a name and a blessing by her daddy in the High Range ward on 1/30/10. It was such a wonderful day for our family! We were so lucky to have Granny and Grampa Stoker, Uncle Jake, and Uncle Adam all come visit for the special day! Lacey was such a little angel through her whole blessing, but cried when it was over. I think she really liked to be up on the stand and be the center of attention! Lacey wore her beautiful dress that Gramma Woodbury made and her darling charm bracelet from Granny Stoker, and she looked like such a little princess!

Hangin' out
Jackson is such a great big brother! He made up this silly game to play with his sister that kept them both entertained for about 15 minutes. I think they both got a little exercise too!
And later on in the day...I found myself SO exhausted and grumpy and the ONLY thing that could cheer me up was to put my little girl in her tutu! She is such a little doll-and she ALWAYS puts a smile on her mama's face!

Lacey LOVES the tub! Whenever we set her in the water she kicks and squirms like nobody's business. She loves to have the water splashed onto her tummy or poured over her. She has been known to kick so hard she jumps right out of her seat. I think she could sit in her bathtub all day long if I let her. She always cries when we take her out. Such a silly girl! I can't wait to take her to the swimming pool this summer!
Jackson loves to have his sister sit with him on "his" chair. He will always tell me "Mom, Lacey wants to sit down by me". The real kicker is-I think Lacey loves to sit with her brother as much as he loves it! She doesn't mind being propped right up next to him, even if she isn't being supported real well. We even caught some real sweet smiles from her while she's chillin' next to her big brother!
