Vacation Part IV

For the fourth and final part of our family vacation we headed to AZ. Seth had a conference for work at a resort in Tucson and I got to be his plus one. So, we left the kiddos with my parents for 4 WHOLE NIGHTS to ourselves. It was absolutely wonderful, and perfect timing considering all the stress we were under. Our resort was just beautiful and the pic above was the view we had from our room. While in Tucson, Seth and I lunched at a place called "El Charro", which as it turned out was the first Mexican food restaurant in America and the birthplace of the chimichanga. BEST. MEXICAN. FOOD. EVER.  I spent a wonderful 4 days sitting by the pool reading and relaxing. And luckily Seth didn't end up having to put in a full days work the whole time we were there! The kids were perfect angels while we were gone and didn't seem to miss us one bit. It was a wonderful vacation, but we were definitely ready to head home when it was all over. We had so much to look forward to!

*As a side note, Jackson taught himself to swim on this trip and by the end of it was a total fish in the water. He was even fearless jumping off of the diving board and swimming all the way to the side! He is getting so big.
