We spent a weekend in Bear Lake with some friends this summer and had a blast. It was both Seth and my first experience with Bear Lake and we fell in love! It is absolutely beautiful up there! We had a great time riding four wheelers, playing games, and relaxing. Jackson loved Bear Lake, too-in fact Jackson loved Bear Lake SO much he decided to stay up until 1:30 a.m.! Which is why my husband has a fake smile the next morning in this picture:

Jackson and "Elmo" a.k.a. Emma
Good Luck Leonards!
Denver
Jackson and I went out to Denver in July for my cousin Cheryl's wedding. We travelled with my mom, dad, and sisters, so of course Jackson had all the attention he needed on the log drive. He was a great little traveller!
We did have to make a few stops along the way to keep Jackson from going absolutely crazy in his car seat. We stopped in a little town just outside of Denver and found this little creek right next to the gas station! Jackson was not a happy camper when he finally had to stop throwing rocks and get back into the car!

2 years old!
I can't believe my baby is two years old! He really doesn't even seem like a baby at all any more. He talks so much and learns something new every day and I can hardly keep up with him. We threw him a little party in the back yard this year and we got him this basketball hoop/jungle gym toy-it was love at first site! Jackson's favorite thing to do is "shoot" the basketball, and he's pretty good for a two year old if you ask me!

playing in the creek
Seth noticed this little creek behind Cedar Hills golf course while golfing one day and he thought it would be fun to take Jackson back to let him play in the water. Turns out daddy was right! Jackson could have stayed all night throwing rocks in the shallow water. Jackson got in up to his knees...I could barely dip my toes in! The water was freezing!
4th of July
For the 4th this year, we had a bbq at Seth's Aunt's house. It was great to hang out with the fam and the best part was there were tons of other kids there for Jackson to play with! I was glad to have the holiday off of work-it was a rare occasion where Seth and I actually get to spend an entire day together!
The ONLY pic I could get of the three of us-and of course Jackson was fighting it.

I thought "the twins" looked so festive in their 4th of July outfits (Seth will tell you I picked out his outfit), but forget about getting a normal pic of these two!
And the day after the 4th festivities we said goodbye to Kev before he headed out to start his new job in TX! Seth sure misses having his dad to hang around with at BYU!

June
Well the month of June sure has gone by fast and I am dreading the thought of the rest of the summer flying by. However, we have had some good times so far this summer and we have a lot to look forward to! The first weekend in June, Seth came down with the dreaded "swine flu"! Yep, it's true! He was sick as a dog. And of course just as Seth was starting to feel like he could get off the couch...you guessed it-Jackson got sick! It was a pretty nasty week for the whole family. I am at least grateful to say I never got sick-although I am baffled at how this happened with my two boys coughing all over me all week. I suppose over a year of working in the ER has been good for something-a great immune system! Luckily the boys perked up just in time for a quick trip to St. George with the Stoker side of the family. My mom was nice enough to come hang out in Provo for a while, too. So, she watched Jackson at our house so Seth and I could enjoy the trip a little more. I am sure Jackson, too, was much happier with this situation, seeing as gramma's and aunts:
Cuddle on the couch all day long!
Let you play on the laptop!
And listen to the iPod!
Meanwhile, Seth and I had a great time relaxing with the family. We swam, shopped, golfed, and ate great food! We also got to see "Footloose" at the Tuachan amphitheater. It was a great show and we had a blast!

Jamie and I matching at In 'N' Out
Texas Roadhouse!
I was so happy to have my mom and Dana stay for a whole week after we got back from St. George. We had so much fun hanging out and I am so glad they could be there to help with Jackson when I had to go back to work! We all went out to Spicy Corea for dinner in honor of Elder Woodbury serving in Seoul. Seth and I absolutely LOVE Korean food, but I can't say our AZ visitors were quite as fond as us!

Jackson was so worn out from all the excitement! It was a great birthday!
