Placidas

Sunday afternoon we took a family drive up into the mountains to see what we could see. I had mentioned to my visiting teachers that I will really be missing Provo come fall, and they told me about a place called Placidas canyon that makes a beautiful Sunday drive. They even claimed it was as pretty as Provo canyon, which I could hardly believe, but we figured we may as well check it out! It turned out to be very beautiful, although different from Provo, and we really enjoyed getting out of the house and enjoying the gorgeous weather. We grilled some burgers and had S'mores for Sunday dinner and it was just perfect! Jackson was especially grateful to get out of the house, considering Sundays sure can drag on when you don't have any family or friends close by!
